Tooned Volkswagen Beetle mix with Avatar The way of water. Meet the Beetleverse.

Originally I wanted to make a flat design of a tooned Volkswagen Beetle to began a serie of drawings that would build the "VOCHOVERSE" or "BEETLEVERSE". After watching the movie of AVATAR The way of water. I had the idea to mix the texture of the Na'vis with the car, and that's how the "VOCHATAR", the first member of this universe was born. xD

This car was made with vectors in Adobe Illustrator and some postproduction in Photoshop. Also, I wanted to give it a little bit of life, that's why I learned the basics to animate it in After Effects.
